On the Runway at FFFWeek 2015

The 2015 Full Figured Fashion Week awards and retailer runway show were held on June 20, 2015. Sydney's Closet was honored at the event by receiving the "Retailer of the Year" award in addition to closing the showcase with our very own runway show. Our staff has never worked a runway before and we were honored to show off our designs and hard work on the runway at FFFWeek 2015.  Our President and Founder, Phyllis Brasch Librach, enjoyed the monumental evening by watching the models featuring other fabulous designers from around the country. Model Daly Contreras started off the show in our CE1513 green dress with black polka dots. Our Style Team added a little flare with the yellow belt. This is one of the new dresses in the Celebrations by Sydney's Closet collection and will be available in Fall 2015. Both of our Prom collections were featured in the showcase. Our Signature Prom collection, sold in stores and online, included long gowns and short ball gowns perfect for both prom and homecoming. Local model Lidnsey Owens worked the runway in our "Babe - SC7157" formal gown in black and silver. Our Tease Prom collection, sold online in fine stores, continues to be a big hit! Our latest and quickly growing collection was next with our Social Occasion dresses, perfect for the more mature glamorous lady. Model Chearice Vaughn looked amazing in "Twilight - SC4037". Our collection is quickly growing and, in 2016, will more than triple the amount of styles that we offer. To close our show, we featured our Bridal collections. Librach and model Xenobiah Williams closed out the showcase with a fabulous walk down the runway. Xenobiah was the perfect bride in our Michelle Bridal MB1505 gown sold exclusively in authorized retailer stores around the wold. A big thank you goes out to the FFFWeek team including, but not limited to, Gwen Devoe, Audrey Lacy, and Curby Ingram who worked directly with our style team to help make our first ever runway show a screaming success.
