When & why did you start selling formal wear?

We first started out with Bridal. We were looking into buying a business and a Bridal Shoppe was for sale and it was the perfect opportunity. We started carrying a little bit of prom in there and it started to get so big that we eventually had to open up a store that was strictly for Prom only.

Name two things you would like future customers to know about your store.

We have dresses for every occasion with great prices!

What is unique about your store?

We have the largest stock in the St. Louis area and each customer gets a personal sales person to assist them

What do you love about Sydney's Closet?

They target specifically the plus size girls that have a hard time finding a dress. Their sizes do not run small so it does not make the girls feel bad about their size unlike the rest of the companies out there

If you were to tell one person "Thank You" for helping you become the person you are today, who would it be and what did they do?

My mother. She has helped me through out my entire life to make me who I am today. We run the business together and without her I would not be where I am today with this business.

What characteristic do you most admire in your staff?

The customer service that they give the customers

Which Sydney's Closet dress is your all time favorite? Why?

TE1717 every girl loves this dress and it looks amazing on everyone who puts it on.

What trends are you noticing for prom this year?

Two piece, Yellow, Lilac, Simple, no strapless

Describe the biggest accomplishment so far for your business.

We have a huge store with 28 (25 girl rooms and 3 guy rooms) dressing rooms and when we opened for our first season on a weekend we had all 25 dressing rooms going at one time.

What do you love about the 2019 Tease Prom Collection?

The collection has such a variety this year and has many different options for the girls to choose from.

Describe what a new customer could expect while visiting your store.

A customer walks in and gets greeted right away. They then will be teamed up with a Prom stylist who is here to provide them the best customer service, make them feel beautiful, and find the perfect dress that they are going to walk into prom feeling absolutely beautiful in.
